Free Refrigerant Container Recycling
The Allegheny County Health Department and the Appliance Warehouse are offering FREE pickup and recycling of old refrigerant containing appliances.  Please call 1-888-GO FREON (1-888-463-7366) or 412-279-6001 to schedule a pickup.

About the program:

      ♦Starts 1-26-09
      ♦Ends when all funds are exhausted
      ♦Items Collected: Refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, 
        dehumidifiers, and water coolers
      ♦No Commercial appliances
      ♦Recycling in accordance with the clean air act of 1990
