		Recycling Old Electronic Devices In 2010, the General Assembly passed into law Act 108, "The Covered Device Recycling Act" (CDRA).  The general intent of this law was to begin a statewide program to recycle specific electronic devices coming from consumers and small businesses. Beginning January 24, 2013, no person may dispose of a covered device or any of its components with their municipal solid waste.  These devices and their components (TV's, cell phones, radios, computers, laptops, computer monitors, and computer peripherals: keyboards and printers) must be properly recycled and may not be taken to, nor accepted by, landfills for disposal or processing.  For more information, visit http://www.depweb.state.pa.us/portal/server.pt/community/ electronics_recycling_management_program/20342s In preparation of this new state regulation (Covered Device Recycling Act) Moon Township has increased the number of electronic collection events.  In addition to the June Recycling Day event Moon Township will hold additional electronic collection events.  See the Moon Twp web site for upcoming electronic recycling event dates.   Check the Moon Township web site for current year collection dates.
