As a part of routine maintenance of our waterline distribution system, the Moon Township Municipal Authority utility crew conducts biannual flushing in the spring and fall.

Moon Township Municipal Authority personnel will be flushing water mains, testing and inspecting fire hydrants nightly, Sunday through Friday, for (4) weeks beginning

APRIL 27, 2025 through MAY 23, 2025

Flushing is scheduled between the hours of 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

 Customers may notice low water pressure and water discoloration. If this occurs it is recommended to run cold water from the lowest faucet and the discoloration will normally clear in a short time.
